Submissions Policy

The deadline for submitting material (news, pictures, and advertising) for the Times is 5 p.m. Friday before the Thursday publication date. You may submit articles in advance at any time. However, current events received prior to the deadline will be considered before any information which is submitted, without the Publisher's prior approval, after the deadline.

Letters and news releases should be typewritten and double-spaced for easy editing and laser scanning. Letters must be brief and confined to a single subject. They must contain your name, address, and phone number and must not exceed 150 words.

The Times reserves the right to edit any letter, article or other submission, or crop any picture, for style and clarity. Letters, pictures, news ideas and advertising can be dropped off at our offices at the above address.
